Con Theocharides
Founder
As the founder of C&C Chicken, Con plays an active and involved role in the growth of the business he started in 2002.
Cons journey of the poultry industry began in a small shop in Eastlakes, Sydney where he would hand cut and crumb fresh chicken schnitzels daily. Word soon spread about the quality of his schnitzels. He then started to supply a local hotels and then became a wholesale business in 2003.
Things quickly grew and with the support of his sons Chris, Andrew and George C&C Chicken has become what it is today. The number one schnitzel and poultry specialist in NSW for pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels and caterers.
Con is all heart, he takes great care in listening to his staff and customer’s needs.
Chris Theocharides
Purchasing & Production
Chris started at C&C Chicken with his father back in 2002 to initially help out, support his father and earn some pocket money. His roles since then have somewhat evolved. This has enabled him to absorb, develop and grow within the poultry industry and understand the journey from the farmer, processing, purchasing and production.
Chris is the mechanics behind the operation at the Condell Park warehouse. His experience and attention to detail have allowed him to maintain a consistent product for our chef customers.
He is also behind the purchasing of poultry and maintaining our key wholesale relationships which enable us to bring quality and competitively priced product to the hospitality market.
Andrew Theocharides
Sales & Marketing Manager
Andrew joined the family business in 2008 and quickly became the public face of C&C Chicken. As he grew and thrived off the passion and hard work of his father. Andrew became obsessed with the idea of providing an unforgettable customer experience for anyone who was purchasing there product.
Andrew invested all his knowledge from the business into working closely with chef customers to understand what the demand was in the market for poultry. Through innovation and initiative, the product list has expanded to accommodate changing consumer palates, incorporating panko crumbs and marinades into the mix.
As the Sales & Marketing Manager of C&C Chicken, Andrew overlooks everything from purchasing, operations, systems, sales and most importantly customer feedback.
George Theocharides
OPERATIONS MANAGER
George had a different plan in the earlier days of the family business, and he wanted to see what was out in the world before committing to C&C Chicken. First on his agenda was travel and that took him to Cambodia for a year to help out with building local villages and orphans in the community.
It allowed him to capture a considerable amount of perspective and implement his care and people skills into what he does today at C&C Chicken.
As the Operations Manager of C&C Chicken, his role is about maintaining quality, drivers schedules and measuring the ever-evolving landscape of the business so we can meet our customer's needs.
George is a fundamental part of the operational and production process.
Eric Hasapis
Sales REPRESENTIVE
Eric is the Godfather of the poultry game, with over two decades of experience in the industry.
His knowledge and expertise within the C&C Chicken business are priceless and have helped our customers gain a better understanding of the product range and efficiencies in their kitchens.
Eric is a key part of our sales team and knows how to deliver on customer expectations when it matters most.
When he is not on the road travelling to our chef customers you will be sure to find him getting amongst the early morning action to make sure all our orders are out on time.
Themi Jordanou
Logistics & Warehouse Manager
Themi has had over 15 years of experience running kitchens as an executive chef, so he understands the pressures of the hospitality industry and the needs of our chef customers.
His strengths revolve around customer satisfaction and improving our logistics function so we can always provide informative and well-communicated information to all our clients.
Themi joined the C&C Chicken Family as a delivery driver and has since worked his way into his current role as our Logistics & Warehouse Manager. He now takes charge of the C&C Chicken distribution network across our food service and retail brands across NSW, QLD, VIC & SA.
He takes a positive and friendly attitude towards everyone he meets and strives to serve others so they can feel supported and well-informed.
Andrew Thomas
General Manager
Having worked his way up from an entry level role to the General Manager role, Andrew is responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s end-to-end operations with objectivity at the forefront of his mind.
Andrew has implemented strategies to ensure productivity and measures results with his proven framework of individuality accountability, role clarity and transparent dialogue.
He plays an active role in financial and performance reporting, strategy formulation, human resources, and commercial benchmarking.
Chetan Patel
Quality & Assurance Supervisor
Chetan is our in-house Q&A supervisor and plays a key role in maintaining our accredited Food Safety Program and that our products meet our stringent, quality standards all year round.
Having joined the C&C Chicken family in 2021, Chetan comes with deep expertise and industry knowledge having worked for Australia’s leading poultry processing companies such as Redlea Chicken and The Cordina Food Company.
Chetan is shrewdly able in not only donning his QA coat but also cutting across other functions and working collaboratively to drive sustainable outcomes.
Renee Simpson
Customer Service Officer & Invoice Coordinator
Renee joined the C&C Chicken family in 2021 and has since provided our customers with a friendly and personable service that all our customers have come to know and love.
Coupled with her affable and friendly nature, Renee is never shy to pick up the phone and ring our customers to deliver on our premise of customer-focused and personable service.
Renee is one of those rare individuals that encompass a wide range of skills to produce a diverse range of outcomes all with a smile on her face.
